Shnepf Farm

There is a local farm close to us with an awesome carnival setup. We went with our friends Megan and Jayden. So so fun.

Laena and Jayden love to hug and kiss, but here Laena doesn't seem to know why he's touching her.

Laena thought the pig was stinky.

The bees were the highlight of Laena's day.

Airplanes are pretty cool, too. Next time you see us, ask Laena was an airplane says...it's pretty funny.

She was giving her brother some lovin and telling him about the pumkins. I don't think she really understands what's about to happen, tho. 3 weeks til brother gets here...i'm stressed.

We Have Arrived...a week ago!

Yes, we made it home last thursday. It was a fast trip home. We left Tuesday night and got to Mt. Rushmore on Wednesday morning. We then drove to Colorado Springs and since it was snowing, decided to stop for the night. We got home Thursday evening. It feels so so good to be in my own home again.

We only took one tourist stop on the way, Mt. Rushmore. It was amazing.

It was snowing by the time we left Mt. Rushmore. When we drove again on Thursday, the scenery was beautiful. Winston was a good sport about driving most of the way.
Laena was an angel of the drive. She was completely boxed in. The changing pad was between her and the door, the cooler right next to her, with my body pillow wrapped around the car seat. What a trooper.

The sun was setting as we entered Arizona. The sunsets were one on the things that I missed the most about this state and it seemed like it was welcoming us home.

Grandma and Grandpa!

My mom and dad came the weekend before we left fargo. It was so so so good to see them. They brought lots of presents for their only 2 grandaughter, of course.

Laena and Jemma got matching pj's with monkeys on the side.

Here's Grandpa explaining exactly what to do with a new baby Ariel. So cute.

Laena really wants to be the baby again. She never ever took a bottle before, but wants us to wrap her like a baby and feed her a bottle. I love her.

HOME!

We are heading out of Fargo tonight to go home to Queen Creek, Arizona! We are hoping that driving thru the night will work for Laena and me . . . we will see! We will be back in our home by Thursday or Friday, WOOHOO! I've missed it so much.

Random-ness...

So, i don't know what i'm doing wrong, hehe. The only meat that Laena will eat is bacon. She ate that whole bowl of cereal and then 4 pieces of bacon! Winston calls her a cannibal.
Here's Laena helping Daddy with the laundry. What good helpers!
I was in the kitchen for a while. When i came out, here was Laena watching "Little Mermaid". She ate dinner with the football that night, she wouldn't let me take it away. If anyone knows Winston even the slightest bit, you know where she gets it.

Snow!

Yes, here in Fargo the winter has officially started. It has been snowing on and off for at least a week. It never sticks, but poor Winston knocks door to door in the freezing weather. The high yesterday was 35 degrees, back at home it was a perfect 86. I just have to tell myself, we won't be here much longer.

The Children's Museum!

The Children's Museum here in Fargo is surprisingly awesome! There are 2 floors of different rooms with tons of things to do. It's $4 to get in for hours of fun. Love it!

Music Room: Laena claps for herself after each "song" she plays.
Toddler Room: Lots of squishy things for wobbly tots!

Shopping! Laena's favorite thing ever, but with a cart her own size!

A Complete Magnet Room!

And of course... coloring!

Shake Your Booty!

Laena is getting really good at the booty-shake. Even tho she was super tired and had a cookie in her hand, it's still pretty awesome.

P.S. If anyone knows how to change the orientation of my videos, other than just shooting it horizontal in the 1st place, please enlighten me!

Conference Weekend Ye-ah!

I love love love conference weekend for so many reasons. There is just a peaceful spirit that comes with it that i cannot explain. One of the hightlights, though, are cinnamon rolls. Winston was a trooper and rolled every piece of dough. He found that tossing it pizza style worked best!

Uncle Justin made a fort for Laena to play in between sessions. We had a huge air mattress out in the front room for perfect prophet-watching comfort. The fort was between the mattress and the coffee table. He almost got Laena to sleep in it.

This Morning...

Laena got up this morning and asked for "Dada", then "book". She picked up her favorite book, at least for this week, and ran for Dad. I thought it was so sweet.
Because it was raining so hard (it's really hard to knock door-to-door soaking wet and the high temp not even 50), the office + the wives got to go bowling. It was the most fun i've had bowling in a long time, maybe ever!
Who's Bowling? -Winston...
-Randi...
-Justin...
-and Kendra!
Laena found a makeshift slide and was happy for a very long time.
I love this picture. I'm on the bottom. Clockwise: Kendra, Winston, Justin
Jemma was so so good. When she was done with her nap, Laena figured it was her turn.
