Laena Is Three!!!

Laena's party was at 'Yayas' house. All the girls were princesses and boys were frogs:) Don't judge my cakes too harshly, this was my 1st attempt at ever making one!

Laena's the only kid I know who loves the cards that come with presents. She calls them 'books'.

Carson loved playing and dancing to his own music.

Tuckered out while watching a movie after the LONG weekend.

Side note: I added 5 ribbons to the bottom of  Laena's bow holder and it STILL doesn't hold them all. I have a problem.

We are moving!!!!

Winston got a job in Angels Camp, California as a manager of a Compass Bank!!!! We are moving at the end of December. We are so excited to be closer to family. Yeah!!!! Here's to hoping we find a place to live :)

Family Pictures

While we were in Utah, we took some family pictures while we were all together. It was literally 17 degrees outside, so we had some trouble getting the kids to smile and be happy. So fun!

Thanksgiving Catch-Up

We went to my grandparents house in Payson, UT this Thanksgiving. It was the 1st time in a very long time all of my siblings were together. We had so much fun.

Laena LOVES snow. Her favorite songs are about snowmen, she only points out snowmen during Christmas time, the only way to get her in the car when it was time to drive to UT was to promise that she would see SNOW.

We basically had to take shifts playing with Laena outside because the high for most of the days was around 20 degrees. She didn't care one bit.

I don't know why I showed her she could eat it, but she had fun with that too!

And this is my niece, Jemma. This is the face she makes when you tell her to smile. I adore her.

Carson's 1st Birthday!

Carson's Birthday started with a birthday donut!

He put on his "I am 1" shirt (too small already:(  and played with his favorite present, a balloon.

We did a picnic at the park and fed the ducks. Cason mostly wanted to chase them.

He LOVED his party hat. If it came off, he would bring it back to me and whimper until i put it back on!

Pumpkin Patch!

Yaya (Winston's mom) came to visit! We put the kids in their costumes and went to get pumpkins! Laena's aunt, Megan, got her this beautiful fairy costume a while ago, so Yaya provided bigger wings and did her hair. 



Laena chose the smallest pumpkin she could find and she LOVES it. She carries it around the house with her, she did the same thing last year.

One of Carson's nicknames is "monkey", so he just had to be one. Yaya found the perfect outfit at Macy's.

 

Summer Fun

Haven't udpated in a while, so here it is!

One sunday morning, we found out that laena is allergic to cashews! Haha. She looks ridiculous.


Laena's been begging to go to the temple to see the princesses (the brides in their gowns). Fun Saturday.

Haha. Carson LOVES bananas. He is constantly filthy. All boy.

We went to our ward campout. This was Carson's sleeping bag: 3 shirts, 2 pants, rolled in a really warm blanket, then zipped into Dad's sweatshirt. Worked pretty well.

We were so excited to see Justin, Kendra and Jemma for a few days. We took a trip to the mall to make sure the kids took a good nap.

Carson is king of the bumble bee.

We were supposed to be cleaning up Laena's room and ended up playing dress up. Laena made Carson into a lion.
